Traditional Old Fashion Pancakes

Whisk together all dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Set aside.

Dry Ingredients

2 Cups of Flour

4tbsp Sugar

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

¾ tsp of salt

Whisk Together the wet ingredients. Do Not Over Beat.

Wet Ingredients

2 Eggs (lightly beaten)

1 cup of milk

1 cup of sour cream

1tsp vanilla

4tsp melted butter (use 2 tablespoons for batter and the other two for skillet when making pancakes.)  I use a whole stick of butter half for batter and half skillet while cooking.

Preheat skillet to 350 degrees. Once complete make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in bowl of wet ingredients gradually.

Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Pour remining melting butter into preheated skillet. Begin to pour pancake mix. 1 ½ min then flip. Once you flip the pancake let it cook one more minute. Check coloring to ensure they are not cooking too fast.

If using a big skillet or cooking plate you can cook 3 at a time.
